This is going to be my first Valentine's Day alone in four years and to tell you the truth I could not be happier about it. I of course wish that I had someone to send me flowers and give me chocolates, but I think that coming out of a serious relationship it is time I take VDAY off. I am spending the entire day at work and then coming home to make cupcakes.YUM. There is talk however of going to see the new Gnomeo and Juliet movie that is coming out once I am off work with some girl friends. There is just something about garden gnomes that make me smile. So we shall see how that goes and I will be sure to let ya know.

What are youuu doing for Valentine's day?!

Today has been an interesting one to say the least. I cannot believe that it is February 8th and Valentine's Day is on Monday! This is going to be the first V-day I have been single in a really long time. It makes me a little sad seeing that the cheesiest "Holiday" was my ex-boyfriend and I's anniversary. This would have made two years which is crazy to think about just because it feels that we were together for so much longer than a year a half. Anyways, Bassnectar is in 18 DAySSS! I am stoked! If you have not been to see Bassnectar yet you need to and I am repeating NEED TO SEE HIM and experience the wonderful gift known as BASS! It captivates your body and just lets you rage till your ears are so full you can barely hear the person next to you(I do not see this as a bad thing). Pretty Lights is COMING!!! April 23rd to the MIDLAND in KC!!! Can you say great semester for music opportunities! Too happy about that. Goodnight loves it is time to hit the hay. SLEEP TIGHT AND DON'T LET THE BED BUGS BITE!

Last night

Last night I hit up Mojos to see NITGRIT perform. It was fun minus all of the people that were packed into the place. Mojos is one of my favorite venues in Columbia, but last night was my first dubstep show there. To be honest I was not that impressed. I loved the music and I love the place but I was

1) way too hot

2)getting pushed from every which angle

3)one of the sober kids

4)not in high school

All of which made it just an uncomfortable atmosphere for a show right after work. I did get to have most of my favorite people in Columbia there though which made me happy to see everyone. I will be returning to Mojo's in the next couple of weeks however and looking forward to it. There are a couple of shows one including my friends in REELFOOT's show on the 19th. They have a chance to get to play at Wakarusa in Arkansas! Also appearing will be be RICHARD THE LIONHEARTED which is another friends band which I think is flippin fantastic. :)

Goals

I hope you all are surviving the snow storm that has recently hit Central Missouri. If you did not receive any of the snow then you are a lucky duck and I hope you enjoy your sunshine because I am extremely jealous!

I just got done being snowed in for three days with some of the best girls I know! Hometree REPRESENT! It took two hours of digging and three boys with two girls to push me out of the neighborhood! I will be adding pictures soon! SO MUCH SNOW!
